I’m Haley, a Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Clinical Counsellor in Victoria, BC. My goal is to ease chronic pain and reduce emotional stress by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. I believe our bodies hold onto both positive and challenging experiences, and I’m dedicated to creating a safe space for relaxation and self-discovery.

I chose "Rooted Discovery Therapeutics" as my practice name because of how I view growth and healing. To bloom, discover, and reach into new spaces that feel unknown, we must root ourselves. We must remember our own stabilizing practices and strengths to come back to when we reach forward and find ourselves in new and sometimes overwhelming and unfamiliar feelings. 

 

We are all on our own journeys of healing, alignment and discovery. I am honoured to be a witness to parts of your journey without judgment. I feel gratitude to be beside you and to help you find what steps fit best for your goals.   

While away from my desk, I enjoy jogging, hiking, sipping coffee, exploring the beaches, watching comedy, petting my cat Pearl or sitting in the sunshine, finding my own inner grounding.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path.

COUNSELLING

Life has a way of handing out twists and turns, challenging us in ways we never expected. ​

My approach is client centred. I use a variety of tools from several modalities such as CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR and solution focused therapy. Overall, connecting with you and collaborating on what fits best for you is my approach.

As a registered clinical counsellor I can help you navigate:

MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage therapy offers a holistic approach to improving physical and mental well-being. Through the use of various techniques, including kneading, trigger points, and myofascial stretching, massage therapy helps to relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. 

Some examples of what massage therapy can assist with:

  • Chronic back pain

  • Shoulder impingement

  • Tennis and Golf elbow

  • Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

  • Symptoms of whiplash

  • Upper Cross Syndrome
